‘We are always together.’

It was known a bit late that 2PM’s leader, Park Jaebum participated in 2PM’s comeback through an International phone call.

2PM’s first full album as a 6-members group entitled “1:59” was released on the 12th and before their first stage for the new album was held on the 13th broadcasting of KBS 2TV Music Bank, they gave Jaebum (who was in Seattle) a call and promised to give a good stage alongside their trademark greetings.

Each group has their own way of giving words of encouragement before going on stage to perform. For 2PM, it began with leader Jaebum’s “What time is it now?” while the other members responded with “It’s 2PM”.

However, the leader wasn’t there on that day but they managed to call Jaebum in America through 2PM’s Wooyoung phone and have a little conversation on the speaker phone.

Jaebum shouted 2PM’s slogan “What time is it now?” through the phone. The staffs and other singers who witnessed this in the waiting room applause and cheered for them.

A JYPE’s representative said “”It was an extremely tearful scene for everyone in the waiting room. 2PM members had to go on without Jaebum and even withdraw from variety shows because of the empty space leave.”

2PM members didn’t forget Jaebum in their “Thanks To” message. Nichkhun wrote “At the moment, we have lost the most important part of our lives, Jay (Jaebum). Wherever you are, we know that we wouldn’t have got this far without you. We will always miss you.”

Junho wrote “Once a family, always a family. We heard a lot of things, don’t feel depress because we have gibber mountains to climb on. Let’s throw out all the bad things.” Chansung’s “The 7 of us, let’s do this together. Let’s think of it as we are one even during our days off. We are 6 right now, and I’m waiting for it to become 7.”
